Head of Risk & Controls Transformation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Risk & Controls Transformation:

• Lead the development and execution of Eastspring's risk and control enhancement roadmap.
• Translate risk and control reviews into clear, prioritised actions and improvements.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, the Transformation Office and business leaders to drive delivery.
• Coordinate implementation across Group, Regional Office and LBUs.
• Provide governance, oversight and reporting to senior leadership forums.

1. Risk Framework Enhancement:

• Adapt and enhance risk management frameworks to reflect Eastspring's asset management business model.
• Simplify and improve risk assessment methodologies, control libraries and governance processes.
• Strengthen the focus on critical controls and material risks.
• Ensure frameworks provide meaningful risk insights and support effective decision making.

1. Forward-Looking Risk Management:

• Develop and implement enhanced risk monitoring capabilities.
• Establish meaningful asset management-specific KRIs and KCIs.
• Increase the use of real-time and automated risk monitoring.
• Partner with Group stakeholders to leverage technology, data and best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years' experience in Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit or related control functions within financial services.
• Deep understanding of risk management, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Track record of leading transformation, operating model or control enhancement programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex issues into practical solutions.
• Degree qualified.
