Retail Supervisor

About the Role We are seeking an organized, results-driven Retail Supervisor to lead daily retail operations at our aquarium store. In this role, you will oversee team scheduling, financial controls, customer satisfaction, inventory management, and store profitability while working closely with our Regional Management and Marketing teams. Key Responsibilities Store Operations & Cash Control: Manage shift rosters, oversee daily POS reconciliations/cash handling, enforce SOPs, and execute directives from Regional Management.

Sales & Customer Experience: Motivate staff to exceed sales targets, maintain high customer service standards, assist with custom aquarium orders, and resolve complex feedback.

Inventory & Stock Management: Submit stock replenishment orders, perform regular cycle counts/audits, and control shrinkage and damage.

Store Upkeep & Marketing: Ensure top-tier store cleanliness/layout presentation and manage local social media channels in line with marketing guidelines.

Requirements Proven supervisory or management experience in a retail (experience in aquatics, pet care, or specialized retail is a strong advantage).

 Solid understanding of daily cash reconciliation, POS operations, and basic retail financial metrics.

 Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage team performance.

 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.

 Interest in fishkeeping, aquascaping, or aquatic equipment is preferred.
