Group HSE Manager
Job Description: About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and vision-driven Group HSE Manager to lead, direct, and oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies across all group facilities and manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a proactive safety culture, driving compliance with local laws and international standards, and minimizing operational risks and hazards.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and continuously update comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and management systems across all group locations.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure total compliance with local Egyptian labor laws, environmental regulations, and international standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
Culture & Training: Drive safety ownership and engagement by designing and implementing behavioral safety training programs for all personnel, including factory blue-collar workers.
Incident Investigation: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for all incidents and near-misses, establishing preventive measures to eliminate recurrence.
Performance Reporting: Track HSE KPIs, analyze metrics, and deliver monthly performance reports to executive management.
Emergency Response: Establish and maintain robust Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and oversee regular drill simulations.
Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant technical discipline.
Experience: 10–12 years of overall experience in HSE within an industrial/manufacturing environment, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/group leadership role.
Certifications: NEBOSH (IGC or Diploma) and/or OSHA certification is mandatory. ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable.
Languages: Excellent command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).
