Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our client, is looking for a proactive and motivated Facilities Coordinator to join their friendly team based at their Head Office in Milton Keynes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating multiple tasks and building strong relationships with clients, contractors and tenants. Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support from an experienced Line Manager.

The Role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a key role in the effective management of maintenance and facilities services across a diverse property portfolio. You will be responsible for coordinating repairs, liaising with contractors and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing maintenance requests from tenants and contractors via email and telephone
  • Coordinating and scheduling maintenance and repair works
  • Prioritising a variety of maintenance issues, from minor repairs through to large-scale projects
  • Liaising with contractors, obtaining quotations and issuing purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate records using the company's bespoke in-house database
  • Updating, amending and producing reports
  • Monitoring and managing Outlook client inboxes
  • Processing contractor and client invoices
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants and contractors
  • Resolving queries efficiently and professionally
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused, administrative or facilities-related role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Outstanding telephone and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, common-sense approach
  • Good IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • A flexible and positive attitude towards work
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
