Systems Engineer X 2 (IT Infrastructure / Servers & Networks)

Your tasks

About the Role Design, implement and support secure IT infrastructure, providing system administration, troubleshooting and technical support in-house and at customer sites.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy servers, networks, storage systems and firewalls.
• Perform system administration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Carry out system hardening, conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT).
• Perform system integration, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Guide junior engineers and support technical proposals and product demonstrations.

How to apply

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in system administration, networking or IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience setting up and configuring network switches and firewalls.
• Experience with Windows/Linux, MS SQL Server and system hardening.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
• Experience with TCP/IP, switching, routing and firewall configuration.
• Familiarity with servers, virtualisation, NAS/SAN storage and cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, collaborate with stakeholders and guide junior team members.
• Willing to work at customer sites when required.
• CCNA, Security+ or relevant Huawei certification would be an advantage.
