Well Established Company Basic $4800 - $5000 + Bonus Excellent Welfare and Benefits + Career progression Working location: Jurong West (Company Transport Provided) Working day: Monday to Friday Working hours: 8am to 5.10pm About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Power Generation Commissioning Engineer to support the installation, testing, start-up and commissioning of generator sets, pump sets and marine propulsion engines. You will work closely with customers, project engineers and internal technical teams on industrial, marine, power generation and oil &gas projects, with opportunities to gain exposure to both local and overseas commissioning projects. Job Responsibilities: Conduct application, installation and site inspections for power generation equipment. Perform start-up, testing and commissioning of generator sets, pump sets and marine propulsion engines at industrial, marine, off shore and land-based sites. Carry out generator synchronisation, paralleling and control system testing. Liaise with customers, project engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth commissioning and project completion. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control system issues during commissioning. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings for installation, testing and troubleshooting. Support workshop activities including mechanical and electrical works, generator testing and rental operations when required. Prepare commissioning reports, service reports and other technical documentation. Support overseas commissioning projects when required. Job Requirements: Possess minimum Diploma qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in power generation, generator sets, industrial equipment, marine, electrical power or oil & gas industries. Hands-on experience in generator commissioning, start-up, testing and troubleshooting. Familiarity with generator control systems, synchronisation and parallel operation.
