PLC Engineer (Industrial Automation / SCADA)

Basic: $3800 to $5500 + AWS + VB

Working location: Northeast  

Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)

Job Responsibilities: Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC control programs for automation projects

Configure and support HMI functions and PLC integration with SCADA systems

Perform PLC software testing, debugging and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Conduct I/O testing, loop checks, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and onsite commissioning

Integrate PLC systems with field devices, control panels and third-party systems

Diagnose and resolve PLC, control system and industrial communication issues

Review electrical drawings, control schematics and I/O wiring diagrams

Prepare technical documents including I/O lists, functional descriptions, test procedures and testing records

Work closely with Project Engineers, System Engineers, customers and vendors throughout project execution

Provide technical support during system commissioning and handover

Support system upgrades, modifications and enhancement projects

Provide post-commissioning troubleshooting support when required

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related discipline

Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting or industrial automation systems
