Building and Facilities Technician
Basic $ 2,500 - $ 3,100 + Variable Bonus Excellent Welfare and Benefits + Career progression Working location: Alexandra Road Working Days: 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday) Working Hour: 9.00am – 6.00pm / 9.00am - 1.00pm
Job Responsibilities: Maintain the facilities with routine checks on electrical, air-conditioning systems, compressed air and chilled-water systems. Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep the building in daily operational state. Supervise vendors during renovation in order to ensure a smooth transition to new areas. Maintain good housekeeping in AHU and switch room to maintain cleanliness of equipment and site. Work with contractors and vendors to carry out schedules and supervise work on premises to ensure quality cost effective repairs and renovation. Must be able to hands on to carry out repair for sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works and building works. Must be able to carry out simple fault finding for telephone lines. Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Minimum NTC education in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services with 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support. Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection will be an added advantage Experience with IFM, with hands-on skills in trouble shooting electrical fault, aircon fault, and plumbing will be a plus.
