Receptionist cum Admin Support
Job Overview
We are looking for a customer service and administrative support staff to support daily operations, assist students, parents and members of the public, and ensure smooth classroom, test centre and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide information and assistance to students, parents, vendors and members of the public, including handling walk-in enquiries and emails.
- Provide administrative support for short courses and test centre operations, including student verification for assessments.
- Assist with the issuance of requested items/documents.
- Receive and dispatch printed notes, stationery, products, refreshments and other materials.
- Maintain daily cleanliness and neatness of the service counter and surrounding area.
- Manage and document the issuance of room keys.
- Open and lock rooms at the start and end of operating hours.
- Liaise with Facilities Management on classroom upkeep and maintenance.
- Support the coordination and delivery of refreshments for classes.
- Upload and update content on digital display panels via the content management system.
- Handle logistical matters, including stocking, shelving, movement of classroom
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ Levels or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service and administrative support.
- Prior experience in a school environment is an advantage.
- Able to handle walk-in enquiries from English-speaking students, parents and vendors; basic Mandarin is an advantage.
- Prior experience in uploading and scheduling content on digital display panels via a content management platform.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Email, as well as call handling and basic record-keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- High level of initiative with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in logistical operations, including stocking, shelving, moving classroom furniture and operating operable walls.
Working hours / Information:
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 4pm / 12pm to 8pm (Rotating Shift)
- Saturday: 8am to 1pm
- Nearest MRT: Woodland North Station
- Work Location: In person
