Roles & Missions

Within an experienced development team, you will participate in the design, development, and evolution of innovative software solutions in a modern technical environment, based on service-oriented and micro-services architectures.

In this capacity, your main missions will be to:

Analyze functional and technical needs and contribute to the architectural choices of the solutions. Develop, evolve, and maintain Java applications, while occasionally intervening on Python components. Quickly integrate complex existing software and be proactive in proposing improvements and evolutions. Design and develop high-performance and robust REST APIs and services. Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, validation) to guarantee the quality of developments. Optimize performance, maintainability, and code quality by applying development best practices. Write technical documentation in English (design documentation, API, test plans, user guides, etc.). Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and the continuous improvement of development processes. Provide technical support to operational teams and, occasionally, to clients. Contribute to technological watch, experimentation (Proof of Concept), and the continuous improvement of development practices.

Expected Profile

With higher education in computer science (Master's degree or equivalent), you have solid experience in Java software development and wish to evolve in a demanding and international technical environment.

You notably possess the following skills:

Proven experience in Java development, with good mastery of Spring, Hibernate, and Maven. Good knowledge of Python, allowing for intervention on existing components. Mastery of version control and software quality tools (Git, JUnit, pytest). Solid knowledge of micro-services architectures, REST APIs, and exchange formats (JSON, XML, YAML). Mastery of SQL databases and software design best practices (design patterns, service-oriented architectures). Knowledge of Cloud environments, infrastructure issues, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Agile methods (Scrum). You are recognized for your ability to quickly take ownership of technical existing systems, your autonomy, your curiosity, and your analytical spirit. You enjoy teamwork, know how to be proactive, and demonstrate a great capacity for adaptation, both technically and in project organization.

Mastery of English, both spoken and written, is indispensable in order to evolve in an international context, participate in exchanges with clients and partners, and produce technical documentation.

Knowledge of the following technologies would also be appreciated: Tomcat, Solr/Lucene, MongoDB, OpenSearch, OData, as well as experience in the fields of GIS, mapping, or image processing.
