Painter

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and removing old or damaged paint.
• Apply paint, primer, varnish, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Perform interior and exterior painting of company buildings, hotel rooms, offices, and other facilities.
• Ensure that painted surfaces are smooth, even, neat, and free from visible defects.
• Select appropriate paints, colours, and finishing materials based on the nature of the surface and project requirements.
• Mix paints and prepare materials according to manufacturer instructions and approved specifications.
• Travel to different company branches, hotels, offices, and project locations when assigned.
• Carry out painting and maintenance work at locations designated by management.
• Adapt to different working environments and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Must possess practical experience in professional painting and surface finishing.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques.
• Must understand surface preparation, paint mixing, colour matching, and finishing procedures.
• Must be familiar with painting tools, equipment, and materials.
• Must be able to identify and repair minor surface defects before painting.
• Must have good attention to detail and deliver neat, quality workmanship.
• Must be physically capable of performing painting duties, including standing, bending, lifting reasonable loads, and working at heights where appropriate.
• Must understand basic workplace safety procedures.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, punctual, and disciplined.
