Furniture & Carpentary Specialist

Responsibilities:

Construct, repair, and maintain furniture such as beds, tables, chairs, wardrobes, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fittings. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications. Carry out repairs and adjustments to damaged or faulty furniture. Install doors, frames, shelves, cabinets, and other wooden structures. Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and furniture designs. Perform finishing work such as sanding, polishing, staining, and painting where required. Inspect completed work to ensure proper finishing, durability, and quality. Identify damaged furniture and recommend appropriate repair or replacement. Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition. Keep the workshop and work areas clean, safe, and organised. Follow all health and safety procedures while working. Perform other carpentry and maintenance duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of SSCE. 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
