SMT-PQE (Product Quality Engineer)

1. Quality improvement and productivity enhancement
2. Development and improvement of inspection procedures
3. Implementation of customer requirements for process control
4. Summarizing data (SPC) of lots rejected from suppliers and sending information back to suppliers to find the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
5. Installation and troubleshooting of OBA functional test equipment
6. Preparation for management reviews, internal quality audits for quality systems (ISO9001), and environmental systems (ISO14001)
7. Establishment of inspection quality systems and external inspectors (IQA, OQA)
8. Establishment of in-process inspection to control production line quality (IPQC)
9. Leading quality meetings when customers complain or make claims regarding suppliers
10. Monitoring and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
11. Supplier control (quality problem solving, auditing)
12. Control of internal and external calibration

Qualifications:

• Engineering background with a Bachelor's degree or higher; proficiency in Chinese will be given special consideration
• More than 3 years of experience in in-process quality control and inspection
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in QA or QC in an electronics factory will be given special consideration, and willingness to work overtime on the production line
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs
• Familiar with quality-related tools such as QC tools, MSA, SPC, FMEA, etc.
• Responsible with good coordination skills
• Able to communicate in English at a level suitable for operations, coordination, and participating in meetings with customers or suppliers
• Able to work overtime as required by the job and in accordance with labor laws
