Technical Manager (m/f/d), Burbach

Tasks:

• Proactive acquisition of research and technology orders in close cooperation with the responsible specialist departments
• Monitoring project progress as well as reporting to management and customers, including the preparation of annual reports
• Technical leadership of interdisciplinary research teams, external partners, and subcontractors
• Execution of technical tasks, including result analysis and the preparation of technical reports
• Definition, planning, and monitoring of work packages
• Ensuring all measures required to achieve project goals
• Maintaining long-term customer relationships to ensure project success

Profile:

• Successfully completed studies in a technical field, preferably with a doctorate (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field)
• Professional experience in development as well as initial experience in technical project management is an advantage
• Experience in the military sector or the defense technology industry is an advantage
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing as well as willingness to undertake occasional international travel
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as the ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary and international teams
• Good communication skills as well as an independent and flexible way of working
