Tasks:

  • Responsibility for the strategic further development of the product portfolio in the field of defense technology, taking market and demand analyses into account
  • Close cooperation with customers, authorities, and internal specialist departments to define and implement technical specifications
  • Management of development projects in cooperation with R&D, production, and external partners, including cost, schedule, and quality control
  • Observation of technological trends and competitors, identification of new business opportunities, and derivation of corresponding measures
  • Support of sales through technical expertise, presentations to customers, as well as participation in trade fairs and specialist events

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in product management, ideally in the field of defense technology, armament, or safety-critical industries
  • Technical understanding of defense technology systems and their requirements
  • Confident handling of authorities and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured way of working
  • Business-fluent English language skills
  • Willingness to travel, including abroad
