Designer (m/f/d), Burbach (Designer - Bodywork/Vehicle Component Technology)

Tasks:

• Design/detailed design of components and assemblies as well as creation of technical documentation
• Creation and maintenance of drawings, bills of materials, and target configuration lists
• Updating and maintaining documents in the SolidWorks Enterprise PDM system
• Carrying out interface considerations and tolerance analyses
• Coordination with suppliers for cost optimization and manufacturability
• Coordination with development and production for the structural implementation of requirements from the respective specialist departments

Requirements:

• Completed university degree in the field of engineering (e.g., electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering)
• Very good knowledge of SolidWorks
• Practical experience in the design of sheet metal parts, welded assemblies, stamping, and injection molded parts
• Goal- and result-oriented as well as structured way of working with a strong hands-on mentality
• Open and transparent communication as well as reporting
• Fluent English skills (B2 level)
