Student Engagement and Support Personnel

Job Description Build positive relationships with students and provide guidance and support where needed. Assist in managing student behaviour, resolving conflicts and handling behavioural incidents. Supervise students, monitor their conduct and report concerns to school personnel. Coordinate with school staff, parents and relevant stakeholders on student-related cases. Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions and follow-up actions. Keep updated on youth behaviour and online trends affecting student safety and well-being. Perform other student management duties as assigned by the school. Requirements Recognized Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline. Experience in education, youth-related, community or social-service settings is an advantage. Able to engage effectively with children and youths while maintaining professional boundaries. Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills. Observant and able to identify, manage and escalate student-related concerns appropriately. Able to handle challenging and sensitive situations calmly and professionally. Good judgement and discretion when handling confidential information. Able to maintain clear records and work collaboratively with students, parents and school staff. Additional relevant qualifications, certifications or experience are an advantage
