Kitchen Assistant

Job Description Support daily operations in the Teacher Preparation Room and two Kitchens. Receive and verify food orders and deliveries. Prepare and portion ingredients and equipment for culinary lessons. Maintain food hygiene, kitchen safety and cleanliness. Check and maintain ingredients, equipment, utensils and appliances. Conduct inventory and stock-taking of resources. Assist NFS Teachers during culinary sessions and guide students on safety and food preparation. Perform other duties assigned by NFS Teachers Requirements Minimum PSLE qualification. Valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1Certificate. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as an FCE/NFS Kitchen Assistant in a secondary school. Basic culinary and mathematical skills. Able to calculate ingredient quantities based onrecipes. Able to read, write and communicate confidently inEnglish. Able to work independently and as part of a team
