Discipline Support Officer
Job Description Assist with fact-finding and investigation of student misconduct and bullying cases Maintain accurate case records and documentation Provide pastoral support and guidance to students involved in disciplinary cases Build positive relationships with at-risk students and identify behavioural concerns Support student safety plans and monitor student well-being Supervise students during school hours, recess, dismissal and lesson transitions Conduct patrols to promote positive student behaviour and school safety Respond to student misconduct, conflicts and management concerns Support conflict de-escalation and safe referral to school personnel Monitor students undergoing disciplinary interventions Identify factors contributing to recurring disciplinary issues and suggest preventive measures Requirements Minimum GCE N-Level qualification At least 1 year of relevant experience in a school or equivalent Experience in uniformed services, schools, youthwork or community engagement is advantageous Strong interpersonal, communication and student engagement skills Good investigation, analytical and case management skills Able to manage conflicts and handle challenging situations calmly Strong organisational skills with accurate documentation Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally Good teamwork and collaboration skills Familiarity with restorative practices and student support frameworks is an advantage
