AV Support Officer

Job Description Provide AV/Multimedia technical support for lessons, CCA, examinations, meetings and school events. Set up and operate AV/Multimedia equipment, live streaming and video-conferencing facilities. Provide technical advice on AV/Multimedia equipment and related software. Support staff and students in the use of AV/Multimedia facilities. Conduct training for staff and students on AV/Multimedia equipment. Perform servicing, troubleshooting and basic repairs of AV/Multimedia equipment. Maintain equipment records, inventory, loan records and asset checks. Assist with procurement, maintenance and replacement of AV/Multimedia equipment. Coordinate AV/Multimedia projects with vendors and school stakeholders. Perform other AV/Multimedia duties as assigned by the school. Requirements MinimumDiploma or equivalent relevant qualification. At least2 years of experience as an AV Support Officer or equivalent, preferably in a school environment. Good knowledge of AV equipment, including projectors, visualisers, speakers, mixers, switchers and control panels. Able to troubleshoot AV systems and provide technical support. Experience in live streaming and video conferencing is preferred. Good computer and IT skills. Experience in managing AV equipment for school events, functions and projects is preferred. Experience in equipment maintenance, asset management and user training is preferred. Experiencesupporting live performances in concert halls is an advantage.
