Optical Retail Assistant

We are looking for a customer-oriented Optical Retail Assistant to join our team. You will support customers with their eyewear needs while assisting with daily store operations and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions, work orders and payments.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Support daily store operations and ensure the outlet is well-organised.
• Provide general administrative and operational support as required.

Career Development

Subsidised study pathway available for selected high-performing staff to pursue qualifications as an Optician and/or Optometrist .

Requirements

• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and develop knowledge in the optical industry.
• Comfortable working in a retail environment.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
