We are looking for a Senior Orchestrade Developer to help implement, customize, integrate, and operate Orchestrade across our investment and post-trade platforms, working across Orchestrade configuration, Native SDK integrations, trade lifecycle workflows, and supporting .NET services. You will work closely with investment, operations, risk, data, infrastructure, and external implementation teams to deliver reliable technology for trading, portfolio management, valuation, risk, and post-trade processing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Orchestrade integrations and custom functionality using C#/.NET and the Orchestrade Native SDK.

Configure Orchestrade for portfolios, funds, counterparties, instruments, settlement instructions, workflows, permissions, and reference data.

Build integrations between Orchestrade and internal or external systems, including trade feeds, market data, Trade Hub, prime brokers, fund administrators, and downstream reporting platforms.

Implement trade and lifecycle-event messaging, including new trades, amendments, cancellations, novations, exercises, and corporate actions.

Develop robust message handling with validation, serialization, retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues, alerting, and operational runbooks.

Support Orchestrade environments hosted on Azure, including application connectivity, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, SFTP, monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.

Improve system performance, reliability, observability, security, and production supportability.

Produce high-quality units, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests, and support SIT, UAT, releases, and incident investigations.

Participate in technical design, code reviews, release planning, documentation, and mentoring of other developers.

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.

8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications, integrations, or distributed systems.

Strong commercial experience with C# and modern .NET.

Hands-on experience with Orchestrade configuration, customization, Native SDK, plugins, or implementation projects.

Strong understanding of APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, serialization, networking, and asynchronous programming.

Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database, including SQL and data modelling.

Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, source control, and production support.

Familiarity with Azure infrastructure, RabbitMQ, SFTP, Docker, monitoring, and secure credential management is desirable.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Domain exposure highly desirable: investment management, hedge funds, investment banking, or capital markets technology, including trading, order management, portfolio management, market data, pricing, valuation, P&L, risk, settlements, or post-trade processing, along with experience implementing or migrating platforms such as Orchestrade, Murex, Calypso, or similar investment systems.
