Senior Controller (m/f/d) – Functional Lead Controlling, AI & Digitalization (Controller/in)

For our location in Wiesbaden, we are looking for a Senior Controller (m/f/d) - Functional Lead Controlling, AI & Digitalization - Reference number: 2870-2026 for the Controlling / Group Reporting department within the headquarters at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks include:

• Identification, evaluation, and prioritization of AI use cases in the field of controlling.
• Development and implementation of AI-supported solutions for planning, forecasting, analyses, and report commentary, as well as enablement of the controlling organization in dealing with AI tools.
• Management of finance digitalization projects as well as steering of external service providers and implementation partners.
• Implementation of the digitalization and automation strategy in controlling to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and in the process, standardization of controlling processes.
• Functional leadership and process authority and central interface function between controlling, IT, national companies, and external consultants.
• Functional further development of the controlling system landscape in the SAP S/4HANA, CCH® Tagetik, and analytics environment.
• Conception and implementation of system-supported Integrated Business Planning.
• Ensuring a consistent data base as well as conception and further development of data models, reporting structures, and governance guidelines for modern AI, analytics, and reporting solutions.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in economics with a focus on controlling, business informatics, auditing, or business administration.
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the field of controlling or accounting, business intelligence, or finance transformation in an industrial company.
• You have experience in digitalization and transformation projects as well as in the implementation of AI/analytics use cases in the finance environment.
• You are familiar with AI systems, databases, and machine learning as well as the systems SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW.
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel).
• Systematic and process-oriented approach paired with a high orientation toward problem-solving.
• High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, and commitment.
• Good organizational and coordination skills as well as strong social competence and teamwork skills.
• Intercultural competence and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation.
• At least good English skills in speaking and writing. Knowledge of other foreign languages is welcome.
