To strengthen our team at the Düsseldorf location, we are looking for a dedicated Project Specialist (m/w/d) at the earliest possible date. As a Project Specialist, you will take over the operational handling of shipments for our project customers in the Area West Germany. In doing so, you will develop tailored and innovative transport concepts for international project and out-of-gauge shipments with a focus on sea freight together with our international project network and implement them successfully. Your Activities

• Handling of worldwide out-of-gauge and/or heavy-lift transports via sea freight and other modes of transport
• Rate negotiations with carriers and freight forwarders as well as purchasing, dispatching, and booking of cargo space
• Order entry and billing via our IT system
• Development of transport solutions and preparation of quotations
• Processing of inquiries and requests from our Global Projects international organizations
• Creation of the necessary documentation
• Shipment tracking and status reporting

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training as a Kaufmann (w/m/d) for Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung or relevant forwarding experience with a focus on sea freight
• Intermodal experience in the field of worldwide out-of-gauge and/or heavy-lift transports is an advantage
• Enthusiasm for logistical topics and interest in the further development of your own expertise
• Customer- and solution-oriented way of working, good cross-functional and cross-cultural communication skills, good written and spoken English skills
