Your activities

• You plan and coordinate daily regional transport orders in local transport around Ulm and Herbrechtingen.
• You ensure that deliveries and collections are carried out on time and in accordance with the agreed service requirements.
• You optimize routes and ensure economical vehicle utilization.
• You take over capacity and cargo space planning and coordinate the use of transport companies.
• You manage and support our partner companies and assist with their deployment planning.
• You are the central contact person for customers, drivers, transport companies, as well as internal specialist departments.
• You conduct price and condition negotiations with carriers.
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements, especially in the areas of dangerous goods, occupational safety, as well as driving and rest times.

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Kaufmann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you have professional experience in local transport dispatching or in the transport and logistics environment.
• You are familiar with the relevant legal regulations, especially regarding working, driving, and rest times.
• You bring good geographical knowledge of the Ulm region and its surroundings.
• You work independently, in a structured manner, and in a solution-oriented way.
• You convince through strong communication skills, team spirit, and organizational skill.
• You maintain an overview even in labor-intensive situations and work reliably.
• You enjoy interacting with customers, business partners, and colleagues.
• You have good English skills in speaking and writing.
• You are proficient in using common MS-Office applications.
