DSV Global Projects & Industry Solutions (DPIS) is one of the world's leading providers of project logistics. To strengthen our team at the Düsseldorf location, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Team Lead (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

As a Senior Team Lead, together with your team, you will take over the commercial and operational support of our project customers in the Area West Germany. In doing so, you will work together with our international project network to develop tailored and innovative transport concepts for international project and out-of-gauge shipments with a focus on ocean freight and implement them successfully.

Your Activities

• Leading an interdisciplinary team consisting of sales, pricing and operational employees
• Development and organization of transport solutions for worldwide out-of-gauge and Special Cargo shipments for our customers in the DPIS Area West Germany with a focus on ocean freight
• Economic responsibility for the area and the entrusted customers
• Rate negotiations with carriers and freight forwarders as well as purchasing, scheduling and booking of freight space
• Processing of inquiries and calls from our worldwide Global Projects & Industry Solutions network
• Communication with the most important stakeholders at customers, partners, service providers

Your Profile

• Successfully completed training in the field of transport/logistics or a subject-related degree as well as relevant professional experience, ideally in the project business
• Strong enthusiasm for logistical topics and technical challenges
• High communicative and intercultural competence for working in an international environment
• Leadership and teamwork skills
• Service and customer orientation
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
