Freight Forwarder Seafreight, Key Account - DSV

Manage international seafreight operations and make a real impact on the supply chain of our most important customers.

As a Freight Forwarder Key Account, you coordinate international seafreight shipments from A to Z for a strategic customer. You are the central point of contact and ensure that every shipment proceeds smoothly, timely, and according to agreement.

In this dynamic logistics environment, you work closely with internal teams, external partners, and customers. At the same time, you build strong relationships and guarantee a high level of service.

Your responsibilities

• You manage transport orders in the system and ensure correct and timely processing of all shipments.
• You coordinate international seafreight shipments and align with internal teams, shipping lines, and customs partners to meet customer expectations.
• You prepare transport and customs documentation, checking and validating it according to applicable legislation and internal guidelines.
• You monitor the progress of shipments and proactively offer solutions to ensure delivery times and service levels.
• You act as a key point of contact for customers by keeping them informed and building sustainable relationships.
• You ensure correct registration of data in systems such as WMS, TMS, and SAP to support operational excellence.
• You continuously look for improvements in processes and customer service within the supply chain.

Your profile

• Experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably in seafreight (Seafreight);
• Fluent communication in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset;
• Ability to work accurately and respect deadlines in a dynamic environment;
• A proactive, customer-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset;
• Eager to learn and motivated to grow further within an international logistics environment.
