Control Tower Assistant Seafreight, Export - DSV

As a Freight Forwarder Export Sea in Puurs, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing the entire transport process for one of our most important customers.

You will be part of our dynamic Control Tower department and contribute daily to delivering excellent logistical services within seafreight.

• Ensuring excellent service and clear communication with your key account customer regarding export shipments via seafreight on a daily basis;
• Creating, managing, and following up on shipments in our advanced Transport Management System (TMS);
• Coordinating bookings with various partners, including shipping lines and carriers, according to the applicable agreements;
• Close collaboration with the customs team to ensure that all customs documents are prepared in a timely manner;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships within the DSV network, including for shipment announcements and price inquiries;
• Taking responsibility for correct invoicing and high data quality, in accordance with DSV Compliance guidelines;
• Applying DSV Compliance procedures, including safety regulations, embargo regulations, carrier guidelines, and product-specific requirements.

• A few years of experience within Freight Forwarding, preferably in seafreight (Seafreight);
• Good knowledge of English;
• Ability to quickly learn new IT systems and software applications;
• An IMDG and/or Codex training is a plus.
