Your tasks

Our project department in Bergen is seeking an energetic and experienced freight forwarder who can fill the role of Project Specialist and thereby contribute to further success. It is important to us that you have experience with the coordination of international transport, preferably air and sea freight. We will teach you everything else that is important in our company.

As a Project Specialist, your tasks will include, among other things:

• Ownership of customers and performing daily operations, including planning, coordination, and execution of customers' international shipments.
• Ensuring professional handling throughout the customer's supply chain and that work is performed in accordance with our QHSE standards.
• Maintaining proactive dialogue, performing excellent customer service, and continuously maintaining customer loyalty.
• Ongoing contact with agents, our sister companies abroad, as well as subcontractors to ensure competitive terms.
• Continuously focusing on cost-effectiveness in your own daily work, including invoicing to the customer.
• You are comfortable using the telephone as a work tool, keep your cool under pressure, and are able to make important decisions quickly.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, it is a prerequisite that you have insight into and experience with the coordination of international transport. It is also a clear advantage if you have experience with handling special transports, preferably air and sea freight. This is a job where many important decisions are made in everyday life, and you will continuously communicate with all parties involved in the transport. We are looking for someone who is able to see opportunities for areas of improvement that will contribute to development. In this way, we can at all times ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
