Mechanical and Analysis Engineer Required

For DSIT, a company specializing in the development of multidisciplinary systems, a Mechanical and Analysis Designer is required.

The company specializes in the development of systems in two main fields: the sonar and marine acoustics field and the communication field (MICROWAVE and RF). Reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader.

Job Description:

• Integration into the company's mechanical development team and interfaces with development teams, management, and customers.
• Development of enclosures for the company's marine systems.
• Development of ruggedized and industrial enclosures for project systems (airborne and ground-based).
• Performing analyses (thermal, strength, and dynamics) based on the SOLID WORKS SIMULATION system.
• Accompanying the development and editing of the company's electronic circuits in the context of enclosures.
• Understanding of transition processes from development to production.
• Accompanying, managing, and auditing mechanical production at subcontractors and assembling components during the integration stage.
• Field installations and support for the company's customers in Israel and abroad.

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineer - at least five years of experience in mechanical development.
• Proven experience in the subject of enclosure development for complex systems.
• Proven experience in enclosure design with an emphasis on heat dissipation through passive and active means.
• High ability in presenting designs and interfaces with customers, management, and the electronic development team.
• Experience and ability in performing strength and thermal analyses - Mandatory.
• Advantage to those with experience in marine/underwater enclosure design.
• Knowledge of the SolidWorks system - Mandatory.
• Knowledge of the PDM system - Mandatory.
• Knowledge of the PRIORTY system - Advantage.
• English - Very good.
