Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Lead

Drivyn is building an in-car digital advertising and passenger engagement platform for taxis, rideshare vehicles and fleets. We are preparing to launch our first pilot in Cairo and are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Lead to become our first technical hire in Egypt. Our UI/UX and Figma prototype are already complete. Your role will be to work directly with the founder to turn the product into a scalable, production-ready platform. What You’ll Build You will take technical ownership across the Drivyn ecosystem, including: In-vehicle passenger tablet platform

Driver application

Advertiser web dashboard

Internal admin platform

Backend services and APIs

Campaign management and scheduling

Geo-targeted advertising

User authentication and permissions

Analytics and event tracking

QR and passenger interaction tracking

Communication between our backend and in-vehicle devices

Cloud infrastructure and deployment

What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript

Strong React.js / Next.js experience

Strong Node.js backend development experience

Experience with PostgreSQL and database architecture

Experience designing and integrating REST APIs

Git / GitHub experience

Experience with AWS, GCP or similar cloud infrastructure

Strong understanding of scalable system architecture

Ability to turn Figma designs into production applications

Comfortable taking ownership and making technical decisions independently

Experience with Android/Kotlin, GPS/location services, device management, offline-first applications, AdTech, analytics or fleet technology is highly regarded. We’re looking for a hands-on builder who can architect systems, write high-quality production code, solve difficult technical problems and eventually help us build and lead the wider engineering team.
