Class 2 Gritter Driver

Forfar We are currently recruiting Class 2 Gritter Driver to work with our customer in Forfar, carrying out essential winter maintenance across the local area. The Role: Driving a Class 2 gritter vehicle Completing winter maintenance duties along a pre-determined route Ensuring roads are treated safely and efficiently Working predominantly during night shifts and in winter weather conditions Following route instructions and all relevant health & safety procedures Pay & Benefits: £16.81 per hour Overtime paid at time and a half Night shift allowance: £24.41 per night - Sunday to Thursday £48.81 per night - Friday & Saturday

You will need: A valid Class 2 (C) licence, CPC and Digi Card Relevant commercial driving experience A good understanding of road safety Reliability and flexibility, particularly around winter weather conditions The ability to work independently and follow a set route This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers looking for regular winter work with enhanced rates and allowances.
