Accountant and Data Analyst
Record, review, and reconcile daily accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, credit notes, debit notes, returns, and journal entries.
Support monthly and annual closing activities by preparing accruals, provisions, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
Monitor accounts receivable, customer aging, collections, credit limits, and outstanding balances.
Reconcile Key Accounts balances and coordinate with the Sales and Collection teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
Collect, clean, validate, and consolidate sales data from the ERP system and other available sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Analyze sales performance by customer, Key Account, product, SKU, category, brand, channel, region, and salesperson.
Compare actual sales results against targets, budgets, forecasts, previous periods, and historical trends to identify performance gaps and changes.
Analyze sales value, volume, growth, average selling price, product mix, discounts, returns, and profit margins to understand the main drivers of business performance.
Identify purchasing patterns, demand changes, seasonality, unusual sales movements, potential risks, and business growth opportunities.
Evaluate customer, product, SKU, brand, and channel performance to identify profitable areas, underperforming segments, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate sales data into clear business insights and recommend actions related to pricing, product mix, customer targeting, promotions, and resource allocation to improve sales and profitability.
Develop decision-support dashboards and presentations, communicate key findings to management, and measure the impact of approved recommendations on business performance.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
Relevant certifications in accounting, financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analysis are considered an advantage.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, sales analysis, financial analysis, business analysis, or commercial finance.
Previous experience in an FMCG distribution company is strongly preferred.
Strong accounting, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and financial reporting knowledge.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, dashboards, and Power Query.
Good knowledge of Power BI and data visualization.
Strong sales, profitability, and data-analysis skills.
Ability to translate data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
