This is what we are looking for from you

As a Sourcing Analyst (m/f/d) | Purchasing Clerk, you will support strategic purchasing in all purchasing-related tasks, focusing on product maintenance measures such as preparing for the evaluation and implementation of technical changes for purchasing materials.

You will work closely with development teams, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure that required materials are available reliably and on time. In doing so, you make an important contribution to ensuring that our safety technology protects people and saves lives worldwide.

You query data from suppliers regarding technical, logistical, or capacity aspects.

You request quotations, compare them, and prepare well-founded procurement decisions.

You trigger orders for prototypes, tools, and pre-series requirements and resolve technical, commercial, or logistical discrepancies.

You are accustomed to maintaining master data carefully and reliably and maintain a good overview of your area of responsibility.

You enjoy recurring activities with measurable successes as you progress in the task.

For your daily work, you use tools for data transfer to suppliers and/or maintain data in SAP / S4.

This position is to be filled for a fixed term of 18 months.

What you bring with you

• a completed subject-specific vocational training
• initial experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company
• confident handling of MS Office and SAP/S4 (or comparable ERP system)
• good English skills
• ideally:
• initial experience in cross-functional project teams
• knowledge in the product groups electronics or mechanics
• knowledge in ARAS or a comparable document management system
