Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Emergency & Rescue Services (Business-Development-Manager/in)

What we are looking for

As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for the strategic development and processing of existing as well as new market segments within the Fire Services and Mining segments. Your key responsibilities include:

• Analysis of market and technology trends, competition, and customer requirements as a basis for strategic decisions
• Segmentation and prioritization of customer groups as well as assessment of market and business potentials
• Development and implementation of medium- to long-term market development and segment strategies
• Responsibility for global Product Launches including leading interdisciplinary, international launch teams
• Coordination of market- and customer-relevant information with Communications, Product Management, Sales, Service, Operations, and the regions
• Strategic and operational support of the international sales organizations, including during tenders and customer projects
• Representation of the business field in international customer contacts and global projects

What you bring to the role

• Several years of experience in Business Development, B2B Marketing, Sales, or Product Management
• Market and application knowledge in the environment of emergency organizations/safety technology
• Strategic and analytical skills as well as understanding of market and competitive dynamics
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional, international projects and teams
• Business fluent English (ideally also German)
• Intercultural competence as well as enjoyment of communication and collaboration with different stakeholders
• Completed degree (Economics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar)
• Structured, goal-oriented way of working as well as initiative
