*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented chairside Dental Assistant for sept 24-october 3 Monday, tuesday, thursday friday 9-5, saturday 9-2 vacation relief to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist in delivering comprehensive dental services, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical environment. Your role will be vital in enhancing patient comfort and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.
*Duties*
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, explaining procedures clearly and addressing concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment that adheres to strict infection control protocols.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in dental assisting with familiarity general dentistry procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health conditions.
- Experience working with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and sterilization techniques within a dental setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children in pediatric dentistry environments.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
