Sr. Construction Buyer

Due to expansion, DR MÉXICO is looking for a Sr. Construction Buyer with experience in strategic procurement management, supplier negotiation, and purchasing process administration. The ideal person will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring the best cost, quality, and delivery time conditions for the organization.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree and professional license, INDISPENSABLE, NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Experience in the complete purchasing cycle for construction materials
• Proficiency in SAP Business One
• Proficiency in Excel
• Intermediate English

Indispensable experience in:

• Purchasing supplies, consumables, and minor tools necessary for the continuity of civil works projects
• Monitoring that assigned suppliers comply with agreed costs, delivery times, and quality standards
• Ensuring that documentation for payments (invoices, evidence) is complete and correct
• Identifying new local suppliers that offer competitive advantages and cover urgent needs

Main responsibilities

• Guaranteeing an effective purchasing cycle
• Requests and quotations to suppliers
• Comparatives and market studies
• Negotiation and follow-up until delivery to the warehouse
• Invoicing to suppliers and attention to internal clients
