We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with a supportive team in a modern dental setting, emphasizing patient education and oral health. We are currently hiring for Thursdays from 2:00-7:30, Fridays from 8:30-1:30 and one Saturday per month from 8:30-2.

*Duties*

  • Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing to prevent oral disease
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
  • Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
  • Ensure the sterilization of instruments and maintain infection control standards
  • Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns in a professional manner

*Experience*

  • Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred, especially with pediatric or orthodontic cases
  • Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is advantageous
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
  • Experience in dental assisting or related roles enhances the ability to support clinical operations effectively
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a positive patient experience

This position requires a licensed Dental Hygienist committed to delivering high-quality care while fostering a friendly and professional environment. The role is integral to promoting optimal oral health outcomes for our patients.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 ? 15.0 per week
