Tasks:
- Collect blood, tissue or other samples from patients.
- Document observations on patients' specimens.
- Examine the results of the tests.
- Log patient samples and prepare them for testing.
- Set up medical laboratory equipment.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.
- Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment.
- Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques.
- Discard specimens according to established safety procedures.
- Administrative and office activities.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Coordinate patient care.
