Our modern downtown specialty dental clinic, specializing in TMD, orofacial pain, oral medicine, and oral pathology, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our friendly and growing team.
Because our clinic focuses on TMD and orofacial pain, the position involves a mix of clinical assisting, scanning, sterilization, imaging, charting, and other clinical tasks related to our specialty practice.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, dependable, comfortable with technology, and works well as part of a team.
Office hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with clinical procedures related to TMD, orofacial pain, oral medicine, and oral pathology
- Perform digital oral scanning
- Take dental X-rays and other required imaging
- Complete accurate clinical charting and documentation
- Maintain sterilization and infection-control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment
- Assist with patient education and communication
- Adapt to changing priorities and support the clinical team with a variety of tasks as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Dental Assistant certification with 3 years of experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Assets
The following would be considered assets:
- Experience with TRIOS or other intraoral scanning systems
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new technology
