*Responsibilities*
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Maxident
- Support front desk staff by handling patient check-ins
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards to ensure safety and compliance
*Requirements*
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration in good standing
- Proven experience with dental assisting in surgical procedure,root canal and restorative procedures.Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient communication
- Ability to operate digital imaging and radiography purposes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and clinical supplies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members
