*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Support orthodontic procedures as necessary, including patient education on braces care.
- Work with pediatric patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed during their visits.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient communication.
- Experience working with pediatric patients or in orthodontics is desirable but not mandatory.
