Are you analytically strong and do you get energy from converting data into concrete improvements? As a data analyst at our head office in Oirschot, you will use data to make processes smarter, more efficient, and future-proof. You will analyze trends, develop forecasts, and translate insights into advice that enables stakeholders to make better decisions. In this way, you contribute directly to the optimization of our supply chain.

What will you do? As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Insights & Analytics team and report to the Manager Insights & Analytics. Together with four other data analysts and the Business Intelligence team, you will help DPD make data-driven decisions.

Within the team, every data analyst has their own area of focus, such as Operations, Commerce, or Finance. Your focus lies on forecasting, scenario analyses, and optimizing supply chain processes. You will investigate issues that affect multiple processes, predict future volumes and capacity requirements, and translate data into clear insights and advice. With this, you support stakeholders at operational, tactical, and strategic levels in improving quality, service, and efficiency.

Your main responsibilities Developing and improving forecasts for volumes, capacity, and operational performance.

Performing requested and unsolicited analyses to make trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement visible.

Analyzing issues that affect multiple processes within the supply chain.

Developing reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision-making.

Performing scenario analyses and optimization studies based on internal and external data.

Advising stakeholders, management, and the board based on data insights.

Initiating improvements that contribute to higher quality, better service, and more efficient processes.

Presenting insights and recommendations to various target groups.

What do we offer you? A salary between € 4,691 and € 6,702 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.

A position of 38.75 (1 fte) hours per week.

What do you bring? Completed WO-education in the direction of Econometrics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.

At least 2 years of experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, SQL, and Python.

Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

Knowledge of statistical models, forecasting techniques, or Operations Research is a plus.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex issues into clear insights.

Experience with stakeholder management and advising both operational teams and management.

Good communication skills and the ability to create support for change.
