Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant/Technition

Downtown Drugmart , Calgary

Schedule: Part-time, 16 hrs per wk

Temp Position - Oct 19th - Nov 30th

Position may be extended.

Downtown pharmacy is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations and provide welcoming service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription and patient information accurately
• Assist with prescription preparation and packaging under the pharmacist?s or pharmacy technician?s direction
• Help receive, organize, and restock inventory
• Support cash handling and customer service
• Maintain tidy work areas and accurate records
• Protect patient privacy and follow pharmacy procedures

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant training or Kroll software experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning pharmacy software
• Reliable, organized, and respectful of patient confidentiality
• Able to work collaboratively in a busy pharmacy

This is a Pharmacy Assistant position; Alberta Pharmacy Technician can apply aswell . The role does not only include duties restricted to regulated pharmacy professionals but may also includes Front store help .
