Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital and ensure efficient service delivery. Coordinate clinical and non-clinical departments and promote effective teamwork. Drive excellent patient experience, service quality and operational efficiency. Manage hospital resources, budgets, procurement, inventory and equipment. Oversee HMO/insurance operations, revenue collection and cost control. Lead workforce planning, performance management and staff productivity. Ensure compliance, quality assurance, risk management and patient safety. Monitor hospital performance using relevant KPIs and management reports. Develop strategic partnerships, referral networks and business-growth opportunities. Work closely with the Medical Director and Management/Board to achieve the hospital's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience. Proven experience independently managing hospital operations. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Demonstrable experience in hospital administration/healthcare operations. Strong understanding of hospital finance, HMO/insurance, procurement and operational management. Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience in a private, specialist or Eye Hospital will be an added advantage.
