*The Role*

We are looking for a full time *Grouter* to assist our drilling crews in and around Edmonton and out of town. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of grouting experience related to drilled micropiles, shoring and anchoring and 2+ years of commercial, institutional or mixed-use construction experience. He/she has a reliable vehicle with a class 5 driver's license with an airbrakes endorsement. They are flexible and can work out of town with little notice.

*Compensation & Benefits*

• $30.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on experience
• Time and a half after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
• 10% vacation and stat holiday pay on all regular hours
• $2.00 per hour out of town premium
• $2.00 per hour night shift premium
• $2.00 per hour incentive after 30 days if you join our drug and alcohol free program

*Job Duties/Responsibilities*

• Operating the grout plant
• Maintenance of the grout plant and all components
• Quality control of grout mixes and pumping
• Proper storage, handling, and use of bagged cement
• Driving grout plant to and from sites
• Traffic control
• Operating small to medium sized equipment
• General equipment maintenance
• Participating in all safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Physical and manual labor, repetitive lifting of 50 lbs. over course of shift
• Site clean-up, ability to work in dusty conditions ? appropriate PPE will be provided
• Ensuring that proper PPE is worn at all times

*Position Requirements & Qualifications*

• Class 5 driver's license with airbrakes required
• Class 3 license is preferred
• Must provide own transportation to and from sites
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be on time and fit for work for all shifts
• May be required to perform a drug and alcohol test for pre project access or post incident review
• Must be able to travel out of town and accommodate last minute scheduling
• CSTS 2020 Fundamentals
• Other training as required by the client/project

• In town and out of town work
• 10-12 hours per day
• Monday to Friday with work on weekends as required
