Senior Accounts Executive (Construction/windows and doors trade)
Industry: Aluminium Windows & Doors / Construction Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: S$2,600–S$4,500 per month (depending on experience) Job Description We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to manage the company's full set of accounts and support financial operations in Singapore's aluminium windows, doors, and construction industry. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, practical experience in construction-related financial transactions, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities Handle the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
Manage customer invoicing, supplier payments, project billing and payment tracking.
Monitor project costs, material purchases, installation expenses and job profitability.
Prepare monthly management reports, profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Handle GST submissions, tax schedules and compliance with Singapore accounting requirements.
Manage cash flow, payment collections and outstanding accounts.
Maintain accurate accounting records and support year-end audits and financial reporting.
Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Support process improvements and accounting system implementation.
Job Requirements Familiar with XERO accounting software and Info-Tech HR system Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction, aluminium windows and doors, renovation, or building materials.
Experience handling full sets of accounts independently.
Familiarity with Singapore GST, corporate accounting and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero.
Experience with project costing, construction billing and cash flow management is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Responsible, meticulous and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
