To strengthen our team at Lahmeyer International GmbH at the Bad Vilbel location, we are looking for a qualified and committed Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) – Smart Grid, BESS & EMS at the earliest possible date. Multidisciplinary teams combine comprehensive expertise with local practice to deliver efficient, seamless solutions for complex water resource projects.

What you can achieve with us:

• You will be responsible for the technical and organizational management of projects in the fields of BESS, EMS/EPMS, Microgrids, hybrid power plants, and grid integration
• You will develop and review technical specifications, functional descriptions (FSD), as well as Employer’s Requirements / Minimum Functional Specifications
• Your area of responsibility includes design reviews of supplier and EPC documents (BESS/PCS/BMS/BoP, EMS architecture, communication and redundancy concepts)
• You will support tenders and contract awards: bidder communication, technical clarifications, bid evaluation, workshops, recommendations, etc.
• You will be responsible for the definition/review of test and acceptance concepts (FAT/SAT/Commissioning) as well as participation and documentation
• You will advise on grid services (e.g., ancillary services), operating strategies, black start, P/Q control, performance, and compliance topics
• You will form the interface to customers, OEMs/EPCs, grid operators, and internal specialist disciplines

What you bring to the table:

• You have a completed degree in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology or comparable
• You have several years of relevant experience in at least two of the following areas: BESS, EMS/EPMS, Microgrids/VPP, SCADA/control technology, protection and control technology
• You are familiar with the creation and review of specifications as well as engineering reviews
• Excellent communication skills, a structured way of working, moderation, and stakeholder competence characterize you
• You bring flexibility and a willingness to travel for business
• Fluent English skills (min. C1 level) in speaking and writing round off your profile
