Job Summary

The Senior Executive will coordinate events from planning to execution, manage publicity efforts and support the operational needs of the Recreation Centre.

This is a contract position with a contract period of six months to one year.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Programme Planning &Coordination
  • Conceptualise and organise recreational, educational and wellness programmes.
  • Coordinate with community partners, NGOs and volunteers on event logistics and implementation.
  • Ensure all programmes are well-documented, evaluated and aligned with engagement objectives.
  1. Event Marketing &Publicity
  • Prepare and distribute event publicity materials (e.g. posters, digital content).
  • Promote activities through social media and community channels to maximise participation.
  • Assist in capturing photos, videos and success stories for reporting.
  1. Operational Support
  • Assist in venue setup and coordination during events.
  • Support daily centre operations, including visitor assistance and activity scheduling.
  1. Partnership & Volunteer Management
  • Liaise with external partners to co-organise programmes.
  • Recruit, brief and manage volunteers for community activities.
  1. Reporting &Administration
  • Maintain programme databases and attendance records.
  • Prepare post-event reports and expenditure summaries.
  • Support procurement and documentation processes.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in event management, community engagement or recreation-related roles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Creative, energetic and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design tools (e.g. Canva) preferred.
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends for events.
