Role Description

The Import Export Manager at Doorade will oversee day-to-day international trade operations, ensuring compliant and efficient import and export activities. This full-time, on-site role, based in Lagos State, Nigeria, includes managing export documentation, coordinating shipments, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support cross-border transactions. The person in this role will monitor international trade regulations, optimize logistical processes, and support risk management related to FX exposure and global payments. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, preparing reports on trade activities, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for engaging with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Candidates should possess Import Export and International Trade expertise to manage cross-border operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should possess Export and Export Documentation skills to prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipment and customs paperwork.
• Candidates should have knowledge of global trade regulations, customs procedures, and trade finance concepts, including FX risk and multi-currency transactions.
• Candidates should demonstrate analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent shipments and deadlines.
• Candidates should have proficiency with digital tools and business software; familiarity with fintech or trade platforms is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in import/export operations or international logistics is required; experience in financial technology or B2B trade services is a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
